How to benefit from change in the workplace
‘Change is the law of life and those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.’ – John F. Kennedy
Virtually all workplaces today are engaged in the exercise of facilitating change, and several are undergoing major transformations. It’s not always easy for the people that are affected by change.
Employees are asked to lead or participate in various change initiatives while creating healthy workplaces where people can progress, do a good job and contribute.
This breakout session will build on the Bringing Your Humanity to Work keynote and is designed to provide people with the knowledge and skills to understand, cope with, and benefit from change.
Participants will learn:
- How humans respond to change and cope with uncertainty.
- How to appreciate their personal style and preferences when faced with change.
- How to help create a culture that fosters effective transformation.
- How to demonstrate leadership in the face of change, regardless of your role.
- How to facilitate the testing and adoption of new ways of doing things.
