
As our mind is a key player in our well-being, a focus of Buddhist study is understanding the intricacies of our minds and training in techniques for inner peace. In this workshop, the Buddhist nuns at GWBI will share concepts and tools derived from 2,500 year-old Buddhist principles that help us increase awareness of our reactions to situations, develop a new outlook in day-to-day life, and build resilience to handle challenging situations. This will be an interactive workshop in which participants will not only learn the basics of taming the mind, but will also engage in hands-on practice.
