Teague O’Meara

Teague (pronunciation: tay-g) O’Meara (she/her) is an Outreach Officer at Elections Canada, where she focuses on the electors with disabilities portfolio. Her work involves engaging with diverse organizations, communities, and individuals to promote awareness and enhance participation in all aspects of the electoral process. She is committed to fostering inclusive democratic engagement, especially for individuals with disabilities, through establishing connections, coordinating events, and facilitating communication.

Teague holds a B.A. in Religious Studies with a focus on women and religion from Concordia University, and an M.A. in Communications and Media Studies with a focus on women and gender from Carleton University. Her professional background spans education, healthcare, and development, with a particular emphasis on women’s health and education.
